How do I write a good Lens prompt?

Write your Lens prompt in plain English, describing the intent you want to filter for. Be specific about the type of post, the context, and the outcome you care about.

Good examples:

  • “Someone frustrated with [competitor] who is looking for an alternative”
  • “A person asking for a tool recommendation in our category”
  • “Someone reporting a bug or complaining about a broken feature”

Less effective:

  • “Negative sentiment” (too vague, doesn’t tell the AI what to do with it)
  • “Important posts” (no context for what “important” means)

The more specific and descriptive your prompt, the better the AI can classify incoming mentions.
